5G support for Pixel 7, 7 Pro and 6a in India
With the March Feature Drop comes the much-awaited support for 5G connectivity on Pixel 7, 7 Pro and Pixel 6a in India. Now, Pixel users in India can experience the 5G network on both Jio and Airtel networks.

Improved Night Sight on Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro
In the latest feature drop, Google has introduced a camera feature previously seen on the Pixel 7 series to the Pixel 6 duo — faster ‘Night Sight.’ The Night Sight on the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro benefits from the “new algorithms powered by Google Tensor,” which should make for faster low-light photos.

Magic Eraser now available on all the Pixel smartphones

This is not something new, but Google is highlighting it as a part of the March Feature Drop. The Magic Eraser now comes as one of the perks of the Google One subscription, available to all Pixel users, as well as on other Android smartphones and iPhones.

Direct My Call comes to older Pixel smartphones
Another Pixel 7 series feature to come to older Pixels is the Direct My Call. The feature will be available on the Pixel 4a and newer phones. When dialling the most frequently used toll-free numbers, you will be presented with the menu options in advance, allowing you to navigate to the correct extension quickly. However, the feature is limited to the US.

Health Connect now built-in to the Pixel
The Pixel now includes Health Connect as a built-in feature, which provides users with a robust means of storing, connecting, and sharing data from compatible health and fitness applications. Health Connect enables users to manage their health and fitness data from a centralised set of controls and stores the information on the device.

Now see timers set on Nest speakers on your Pixel

When you set a timer on a Nest speaker or display, the At a Glance widget on your Pixel phone will display the countdown and notify you once the timer runs out.

Pixel Watch finally gets the Fall Detection
With the latest drop, The Pixel Watch now gets Fall Detection, which can quickly connect you to emergency services and play an automated message to request assistance in case of a hard fall.

What else does March Pixel Feature Drop bring to your Pixel
Apart from 70 bug fixes, the Pixel smartphones have also got some nifty new features, including the Ultra-Wideband Digital Car Key for select 2022+ BMW models, Fast Pair for automatic detection and pairing of Pixel Buds or Fast Pair enabled-Bluetooth 4 headphones to Chromebook, Emoji Kitchen for creating and sharing new emoji combinations via Gboard, Dual SIM Dual Standby for using two eSIMs with Pixel 7 and 7 Pro (on select carriers/networks), and Hold for Me, now available in the US, Australia, Canada, and Japan.
