Justin Timberlake returns with ‘Selfish’, announces new album
Justin Timberlake is ready to step back into the solo spotlight with the release of his new single ‘Selfish’ via RCA Records.
The mid-tempo jam is written by Timberlake Louis Bell (Taylor Swift, Post Malone), Cirkut (Maroon 5, The Weeknd), Theron Thomas, Amy Allen and produced by Timberlake, Louis Bell and Cirkut. The song is Timberlake’s first new solo music since his 2018 ‘Man of the Woods’ album.
The accompanying music video, directed by Bradley J. Calder (SZA, Tinashe), brings the introspectiveness of the song to life by pulling back the curtain on the production process and blending the line between performance and reality. It’s a raw and honest portrayal of Timberlake as an artist and person.
Timberlake has also announced the release of his sixth studio album ‘Everything I Thought It Was’, which will arrive on 15th March 2024. Take a look at the cover for the album below:
In 2023, Timberlake reunited with his NSYNC bandmates to release ‘Better Place’, which featured on the soundtrack of ‘Trolls Band Together’. It was the group’s first new music in two decades and fans have been hoping for news of more new music and a reunion tour since.
