Recently, a new AI art trend has taken over the internet.

A Delhi-based artist recently shared a series of images generated by AI that showed what men from different Indian states stereotypically look like. And now, the artist named Madhav Kohli shared the second part of the series, depicting stunning artworks of how Indian women from different parts of India would look like.

The artist used the stereotypical features associated with women from different states of the country as his reference. Starting from Delhi to Bombay, Goa, West Bengal, and Uttar Pradesh, he created images of women and posted them on his social media account, captioning them as ‘Indian women, made using stereotypical descriptions and AI. Every image was unique and represented the culture of each state. Notably, he used ‘Midjourney’ to generate the artwork.

Text-to-image AI tools are still in their infancy, however, it has already created massive confusion and debate in the industry. Dall.E-2, Midjourney, and others are stripping away the existing imagination and creativity among artists.
