18 Year-Old With Police Lights And Siren In Mahindra Thar Fights With Maruti Grand Vitara Driver [Video]

Road rage incidents have become increasingly common on our roads. People driving on these roads have recently started to lose patience completely, leading to arguments and fights with other road users over trivial matters. Here, we have one such incident from Haryana where an 18-year-old, driving a Mahindra Thar with sirens and strobe lights, gets into a fight with a Grand Vitara driver after the latter refused to give way. The whole incident was recorded on the dashcam of a car that was behind these vehicles.

The video has been shared by Prateek Singh on his YouTube channel. According to the video, the incident took place in front of Rezangla Chowk Police Station, Palam Vihar, Gurugram. In this dashcam footage, we can see the person with the dash camera in his vehicle peacefully passing through the city roads. Suddenly, he hears a siren and sees blinker lights behind his vehicle. Assuming it was an emergency or police vehicle, the car gave way.

As soon as the vehicle overtook them, they realized it was just a regular Mahindra Thar with red and blue strobe lights and an illegal police siren installed. We can hear the occupants in the car talking about the same as well. The Mahindra Thar was in front of them, and there was another vehicle, a Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, in front of the Thar. The Thar driver once again used the siren and strobe lights to intimidate the Grand Vitara driver; however, the latter was in no mood to give way.

Thar road rage with Grand Vitara

This continued for some distance, and finally, when the Mahindra Thar got some space, the driver drove the car right next to the Grand Vitara and started arguing with him. Both vehicles were now in the middle of the road, blocking traffic. The car recording the video was just behind the Thar, and the driver was asking the Thar driver to move away and give way. When the honking increased, the Thar driver moved forward and suddenly blocked the way for the Grand Vitara driver.

According to the video, the Thar driver then took a U-turn, and then things escalated. Both the Thar and Grand Vitara drivers were involved in a physical fight in the middle of the road. All this was happening in front of a police station. It is not clear whether the police got involved in this matter or not. This is a good example that shows why one must never lose their cool while driving on the road. The Mahindra Thar driver was completely at fault here, as he was using strobe lights and a police siren illegally on his vehicle to intimidate people.

However, the Grand Vitara driver only contributed to this situation by not giving way. If he had given way, things wouldn’t have escalated to this level. Instead of getting into a fight with the other party, try not to engage with them at all. In case you feel threatened, call the police for help. Never get out of your vehicle and try to handle things yourself, as you never know when things may get out of hand.
