2023 Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS Sports walk around video


Hyundai has launched the new Grand i10 facelift in the Indian market today. Starting at a price of Rs 5.68 lakh, ex-showroom, the new hatchback is available in four trims. The brand has already started dispatching the units of Grand 1i0 NIOS to the dealerships and the deliveries are expected to happen soon. Here is a first walkaround video of the Grand i10 NIOS Sportz variant.

The video by The Car Show features the Sportz variant of the new Grand i10, which is parked at a dealership stockyard. The video shows the new Grand i10 is the Typhoon Silver shade. The video shows the front end of the vehicle. There are the new projector headlamps in the Sportz variants that get halogen lamps. The blacked-out grille is available with the Sportz variant as well. There are LED DRLs mounted to the front grille, which is now much bigger in size.

Hyundai has also added the roof-mounted shark fin antenna to the Sportz variant. The ORVMs get integrated turn indicators and the design itself looks very sleek. The new Grand i10 NIOS also gets 15-inch steel rims with wheel covers in the dual-tone shade. These are not the diamond-cut alloy wheels that are available with the top-end Asta variant of the new Grand i10 NIOS. The door handles are pull type and are body coloured.

Hyundai also offers contrasting black coloured roof rails with the new Grand i10. The rear gets a lot of changes including the new connected bar. The tail lamps are LED and the connecting light stripe. There is a reverse camera mounted under the Hyundai logo in the rear of the car.

Updated cabin

The new Grand i10 NIOS Sportz gets a new dual-tone shade in the cabin. It gets a fully-automatic climate control system, and rear AC vents too. The Sportz variant also gets the touchscreen-based 8.0-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay system.

Hyundai offers four airbags as standard with all the variants while there is an option of six airbags too. The instrument cluster remains a hybrid of analogue and digital. There are two analogue dials with a MID in the middle.

Same engine option

The new Grand i10 will remain powered by the same 1.2-litre petrol engine. It generates a maximum power of 82 Bhp of maximum power and a peak torque of 114 Nm. Hyundai will also offer a CNG version of the Grand i10 NIOS. With the CNG, the same engine produces a maximum power of 68 Bhp and a peak torque of 95 Nm.

Hyundai will offer an AMT automatic transmission with the updated model. All the variants will come with a five-speed manual transmission as standard. The AMT model will be equipped with a hill-start assist as standard. The manual transmission offers a maximum fuel efficiency of 20.7 km/l while with AMT, it returns a maximum of 20.1 km/l.
