After months of waiting, the South Korean automotive giant Kia India has finally unveiled the all-new Sonet facelift. The popular sub-compact SUV has been given a number of updates on the exterior as well as the interior. Here’s a detailed image gallery of the brand-new 2024 Kia Sonet.

Exterior Design updates

Front

From the front, the overall design of the SUV has been retained but has been given a revised front fascia.

Side profile

On the side profile, the silhouette of the Sonet has been kept the same with a few updates, including new alloy wheels.

Rear

The rear, too, has been given a makeover and now looks a lot sleeker and more modern.

New front grille

Like the new Seltos, the Sonet has also been given a new and updated Tiger nose grille.

New LED headlights

One of the biggest updates on the front is the addition of brand new LED headlights, which now get a Seltos-like extended LED DRL on the sides.

New LED taillights

The rear LED taillights have also been upgraded and are now connected. The main taillights have also become smaller and rectangular, boasting all LED inserts.

New 16-inch alloy wheels

As mentioned, the car now comes equipped with more modern-looking 16-inch directional diamond-cut alloy wheels.

Updated interior

Just like the outside, the interior of the new Kia Sonet facelift has also been updated.

New 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster

The Sonet now gets a 10.25-inch digital instrument gauge cluster. It will display all the essential information about the vehicle to the driver.

New 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system

One of the newest upgrades on the inside is the addition of a brand-new touchscreen infotainment system, which now measures 10.25 inches. This screen comes with a host of features, including navigation, Android Auto, and Apple Carplay, along with others.

All-four power windows with one touch functionality

With this new facelift, Kia has now given the Sonet all four power windows the functionality of one-touch open and close.

Electric sunroof

Like the previous model, the Kia Sonet comes equipped with a single-pane electric sunroof.

Vertical air conditioning vents

On the inside, the Sonet continues to get the same vertical air conditioning vents with the HVAC controls in the middle.

Powered front seats

The driver’s seat of the Kia Sonet is now powered and can be adjusted in four ways.

In terms of safety, the Kia Sonet facelift now comes equipped with 6 airbags as standard. It also gets Electronic stability control, hill assist control, vehicle stability management, blind view monitor, emergency stop signal, all seat 3-point seatbelt, all-wheel disc brake, and a 360-degree reverse camera.

Parking sensors

The Sonet also comes with Level 1 ADAS with 10 safety features, including front collision warning, lane-keep assist, lane departure warning, and others. It also gets front and reverse parking sensors.

Powertrain options

The Kia Sonet facelift continues to come powered by the same three engine options. It gets a 1.2-litre 83 PS naturally-aspirated petrol engine with a standard 5-speed manual transmission. A 1.0-litre 120 PS turbocharged petrol engine, offered with 6-speed iMT and 7-speed DCT gearbox options. And lastly there is a 1.5-litre 115 PS diesel engine is being offered with three transmission options – 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT and 6-speed automatic.
