Tata Punch EV – September
First and foremost, this festive season Tata Motors will be launching the electrified iteration of its highly popular micro-SUV, the Punch EV. This micro SUV will have a sporty design like the outgoing ICE model but will boast some EV-specific design cues. As of yet, there are no details about the powertrain specifications of the forthcoming Tata Punch EV. However, we can expect that the company will offer it with its Ziptron technology, which also powers the likes of the Tata Tiago EV and Nexon EV. There are multiple battery packs available that deliver different ranges.
Force Gurkha 5-door – September

Force Motors, known for its rugged three-door Gurkha lifestyle off-roader, will soon be joined by a five-door sibling. The new five-door Force Gurkha will be available with multiple seating configurations, including the options of a bench seat and captain seats in the second row, and the options of captain seats and opposite-facing jump seats for the third row. The five-door version of the Force Gurkha will also get the same Mercedes-sourced 2.6-liter four-liter diesel engine, which comes paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox and the four-wheel-drive system as standard. This engine develops 90 PS of maximum power and 250 Nm of maximum torque. In addition to the four-wheel-drive system, the five-door version of the Gurkha is also likely to be offered with a rear-wheel-drive system as an option.
Honda Elevate – September
Honda Cars India will begin its festive season this year with the launch of its highly anticipated mid-size SUV, the Elevate. The Honda Elevate will be the first-ever mid-size SUV from the Japanese automobile giant, and it will compete with cars like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and others. The new Elevate will officially come with only one engine option at the beginning. It will have a 1.5-liter petrol engine, delivering 121 PS and 150 Nm of torque.
Tata Altroz Racer – September
Another anticipated launch from Tata Motors will be the Altroz Racer. This sporty hatchback will compete with the Hyundai i20 N-Line in the Indian market. The key feature of the Altroz Racer is its engine, which, despite sharing a 1.2-liter, three-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine with the Altroz iTurbo, will generate 120 horsepower and 170 pound-feet of torque, which is 10 horsepower and 30 ft-lbs more than the iTurbo. The Hyundai i20 N Line, which has 120 horsepower but 2 Nm more torque (172 Nm) than the Altroz Racer, now has the same power as the hot hatch from Tata Motors.
Toyota Rumion (Ertiga-based MPV) – October
The renowned Japanese automaker Toyota Motor Corporation will be launching the Toyota Rumion, which is essentially a rebadged version of the Ertiga MPV. The Rumion, like the Ertiga, will offer a spacious cabin, comfortable seating, and a host of convenience features, making it an ideal choice for families, and it will be positioned below the Innova lineup.

The South Korean automaker Hyundai Motor India will be launching the facelifted version of its popular premium hatchback, the i20, which will feature updated styling both inside and out, along with new features and improved technology. The facelifted Hyundai i20 that was recently unveiled in the European markets is expected to arrive on Indian shores. The forthcoming i20 will come equipped with the same 1.2-liter four-cylinder turbocharged 83 PS petrol engine and the 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbocharged 120 PS petrol engine from the current iteration.
Volkswagen Polo 2023 – November
Volkswagen might be bringing the latest iteration of its iconic hatchback, the Volkswagen Polo, back to the Indian market after discontinuing it in the country.
