Air India Express: First Airline to Operate From Surat Connecting Dubai

The largest budget airline Air India Express, which has been receiving an overwhelming response from flyers lately, became the first carrier to operate from the newly integrated international terminal in Surat, connecting Dubai.

Air India Express Surat-Dubai Route

It has been informed via official release that flight IX 173, which was departed from the Surat airport on Sunday at 11:40 am, reached its scheduled destination Dubai at 1:30 pm. The aircraft was carrying 171 guests on board. All of them have received a seamless flying experience on the route.

As per the official details, the historic moment was marked by the Air India Express’s MD Aloke Singh, who handed over the first boarding pass of the flight to one of the passengers at the airport.

Speaking about the same, Singh said, “Surat holds great importance for Air India Express as we expand our network on the back of a new fleet, and I am delighted that we are part of the moment when Surat International Airport is growing and unveiling its new terminal.”

In addition, he said that the airline is committed to provide a smooth flying experience to the passengers, and will contribute to fueling the growth story of Surat.

Air India Express on Sharjah-Surat Route

Meanwhile, Air India Express also offers direct flight service from Surat to international destination Sharjah. It operates five flights every week, providing a smooth flying experience to the passengers.

The airline also announced four flights every week on the Surat-Dubai route. Interested passengers now can book advance tickets from the official website or any third-party application.
