A couple of days back, OnePlus revealed that the OnePlus 10T will soon get a beta version of Android 13. True to its words, the company has rolled out the first Android 13-based OxygenOS 13 beta build for the phone. The update is currently only available in India, though. OnePlus doesn’t tell if the handset will get a beta program in other markets.
Android 13-based OxygenOS 13 brings a lot of new features and improvements to the OnePlus 10T. There are subtle UI changes across the system, with OnePlus claiming the changes bring enhanced visual comfort and better readability.

There are also some known issues. These include a blurry wallpaper on the lock screen, the charging prompt not appearing properly on the lock screen, and issues with the Expansion function in the Movie mode. Oneplus will address these issues with subsequent beta releases for the OnePlus 10T.
As far as the stable update is concerned, the company hasn’t specified any date. It has only provided a roadmap for beta updates. We will let you know when we have more information. The OnePlus 10 Pro has already picked up the stable Android 13-based OxygenOS 13 update.
How to install Android 13 beta on the OnePlus 10T
If you’re using a OnePlus 10T in India and want to get an early taste of Android 13, you can install the beta software. We have provided the official link to the full package below (4.8GB file).
Download it and launch developer mode on your phone. To do that, navigate to Settings > About device > Version and repeatedly tap on the build number seven times. You will be asked to enter the password to launch the developer mode.
Now go back and navigate to Settings > About device > Up to date and click the top right button. Here, select Local install and browse through folders to find the update package you just downloaded. Select it and click on Extract, followed by Upgrade. Now, wait for the update to complete and click on restart. Your phone will reboot running Android 13 beta.
Note that beta software may be buggy and often unstable. If you find it too unstable for daily operation, you can go back to Android 12. Simply download the corresponding package from the link below (4.4GB file) and follow the same steps to manually install it.
