A sizable number of third-party apps have now also added support for themed icons on devices with the recent Android 13 upgrade. Here’s how you can switch from regular icons to Android 13’s theme icons on your device:

Themed icons on Android 12
According to 9to5Google, themed icons were available for all users to enable in Android 12; the only problem was that no third-party apps could use the feature. Themed icons were restricted to apps developed by Google.

This also applied to Samsung devices running Android 12. Only Samsung apps were permitted to display themed icons, which was controlled by the Samsung launcher. Now that Android 13 is available, third-party apps can also incorporate this feature.
