Get ready to hear the loudest, glass-shattering whistle notes ever recorded. Ariana Grande has announced the “Yes, And?” remix featuring none other than vocal maestro Mariah Carey. The song is set for release on Friday, Feb. 16, ahead of Eternal Sunshine, Grande’s seventh studio album, out March 8.

Grande made the announcement on Instagram Wednesday, writing: “I cannot believe the words I am typing …… Yes, And? Remix feat the one and only, queen of my heart and lifelong inspiration @mariahcarey is out this friday!!!!!!!!!!!” The singers teased the remix with a subtle nod as both changed their Instagram profile photo to a foil Polaroid photo of their eyes.

“There truly are no words that suffice. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this dream come true and for sprinkling your brilliance and magic on my little song @mariahcarey,” Grande added. “It means more to me than i could ever possibly articulate and i cannot wait for everyone to hear this! I love you eternally!!!!!!!”

AG and MC first collaborated on an updated version of “Oh Santa!” with Jennifer Hudson in 2020. And in December, Grande made a surprise appearance during Carey’s holiday spectacular at Madison Square Garden.

In 2012, before she had made her official debut as a recording artist, Grande shared a cover of “Emotions” from Carey’s second studio album. “This is an homage to my idol and inspiration Mariah Carey,” she wrote in the description of the YouTube video, which has been viewed more than 46 million times.

Grande grew emotional in her Netflix concert documentary film excuse me, i love you when she learned that Carey wanted her in an updated music video for “All I Want for Christmas Is You.”

“Does that mean she likes me?” the singer asked her then-manager, dumbfounded. “It just means a lot to hear from her because my sound was so influenced by her and the 1990s pop sound. The fact that she thought of me is very soul-shaking. You know what I mean? It just means a lot, as an artist and a fan.”
