Captain Britain Creates a New Tabloid, The Reflector

Great Britain has a longstanding a proud tabloid tradition, andnow has another one in the MArvel Universe, The Reflector.

Great Britain has a longstanding a proud tabloid tradition. Whether we should be proud is another thing but one, the left-leaning Daily Mirror is relatively young, founded only 120 years ago. And the name seems to be reflected in the newspaper/website The Reflector, that also employs DJ Scott Wright, otherwise known as superhero Micromax, himself modelled on former BBC Radio DJs, Scott Mills and Steve Wright.

And they seem to be turning agaiunst Betsy Braddock, the new Captain Britain as if she was, I don’t know, Meghan Markle. Of course, this is all part of Britain’s Brexit from Krakoa… Krexit? And the rubbishing in the media of anyone associated with Krakoa, especially someone who is meant to represent everything British.

Just imagine what the tabloids will make of Betsy Braddock and Rachel Summers being a thing, especially considering the Summers family in the Krakoan event. So it’s more like Rachel Summer is Meghan Markle and Betsy Braddock is Prince Harry. Got it.

They don’t like Faiza Hussein either, and reference the dog-whistle that she is part of a minority – a minority of people who have been Captain Britain that is, as Tini Howard brings all the various Captain Britain histories together, siuch as the Captain Britain And MI 13 series…

With Pete Wisdom and STRIKE….

And back to the earliest days of Alan Moore and Alan Davis‘ Captain Britain with Betsy Braddock fellow psychics, now revived with even a Doctor Destiny fererence…

Talking of which, it seems that Alan Davis himself has found new employee in the new Betsy Braddock: Captain Britain series.

As a professional superhero photographer in the Marvel Universe. How did he get that close to the Fury? And enough times to create an omnibus of his photography and sketches?

THE CAPTAIN COMES HOME!
And she’s got a whole new mission! With Otherworld settled, Braddock Manor restored, and her brother Captain Avalon at her side, you’d think things look pretty good for Betsy Braddock. Only it turns out, good ole Britain doesn’t want her back. No one wants a mutant menace carrying the shield of Captain Britain, and Betsy’s made more than a few enemies along her way. Quest-less and country-less, Betsy must define a role for herself. A fresh take on a beloved character, don’t miss the latest Tini Howard extravaganza and fan-favorite artist Vasco Georgiev’s Marvel debut! Rated T+In Shops: Feb 22, 2023 SRP: $4.99
