We have featured many of their cars in the past and it looks like the couple has now added another luxury SUV to their garage. The latest car in their garage is a Mercedes Maybach GLS600 luxury SUV. Now, if you have been following our page you would know that this is not the first Maybach they have in their garage.
In 2021, Ranveer Singh bought a Mercedes-Maybach GLS600 SUV on his 36th birthday. He was one of the first celebrities in India to own a Maybach GLS600. The recently added GLS600 is actually registered under Deepika Padukone’s name. The car was registered on 2 September 2022 at Mumbai RTO. Mercedes Maybach is the most expensive SUV sold by the German carmaker in India. It is the S-Class equivalent of the SUV. It is also the first ever Maybach SUV to be launched in India. Mercedes launched the SUV last year in India and it was available in limited numbers only.

The price for a Mercedes Maybach GLS600 is around Rs 2.80 crore. A host of customisation options are available with the SUV and depending up on them, the price would go up even more. As of now, there is no information available regarding the customisations the Deepika might have opted for the SUV. It is said that both the SUVs get the same Deep Blue shade.
The GLS600 is only available in a single variant. It is sold as CBU and it looks extremely luxurious on the outside. Maybach is for those who think regular Mercedes-Benz not luxurious enough. It gets typical Maybach grille at the front that is completely dipped in chrome. In comparison to the regular GLS there are some changes. There are chrome inserts on various parts along with Maybach logo. The wheels are different and the bumper is also slightly different from the regular GLS.
On the inside, GLS600 is like a palace on wheels. It is available with a 4-seater option only. There is a fixed center console between seats at the rear which has controls for the seats, cupholders, infotainment screen and also has the refrigerator. The seats are wrapped in Nappa leather upholstery and there are other features like electronic panoramic sliding sunroof, ventilated massaging seats, and much more.
It is powered by 4.0-litre V8 engine that gets a 48V mild-hybrid system. The engine generates 557 Ps and 730 Nm of peak torque. The hybrid system generates 22 Ps and 250 Nm of torque on demand. The power is sent to all the wheels and it is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission. Other than 2 Maybach GLS600 luxury SUVs, the couple also has a Mercedes-Maybach S500. This makes the number of Maybachs in their garage to 3. Other than Maybachs, the couple has cars like Aston Martin Rapide S, Land Rover Range Rover Vogue, Audi Q5, Lamborghini Urus Pearl Edition, Audi Q7, Jaguar XJ L, Mercedes-Benz GLS in their garage.
