Digital Rendering Reveals Bold Design

Despite the advent of newer models in the compact SUV category, the constant sales of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire prove that there is still a significant demand for sedans in India. Maruti Suzuki knows this too, and to make the Dzire more relevant and “desirable” (pun intended), it will be introducing the fourth-generation model of the compact sedan in 2024. The new Maruti Suzuki Dzire will be introduced after the launch of the much-awaited fourth-gen Swift, and this digital rendering gives a hint of how the new Dzire will look.

An independent digital artist “Autobics” has come with a few pictures of the digitally-rendered version of the fourth-generation Maruti Suzuki Dzire, which it has shared on its social media channels. Going by the pictures, this digital interpretation of the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Dzire looks bolder and is heavily-inspired by the fourth-generation Suzuki Swift, which has already gone on sale in a few global markets.

Unlike the current-generation Dzire, which has a completely different-looking design compared to the Swift, this digital rendering of the new Dzire has a front fascia inspired by the fourth-gen Swift. This version of Dzire also has a wide front grille with tapered edges and angular headlamps, which feature sleek-looking L-shaped daytime running LEDs. However, the front bumper here looks distinguished, with revised housings for the fog lamps with chrome surrounds.

The side profile of this digital imagination of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire shows a more rounded profile for the roof towards the rear, which is very different from the coupe-like tapering roofline for the Swift. Here, the Dzire gets door-mounted rear-view mirrors and five-spoke machined alloy wheels. Towards the rear, this digitally rendered fourth-generation Dzire looks very much like the current third-gen model with a rounded upper boot curve. However, the tail lamps have grown in size and look sharper, while the rear bumper also looks revised with new inserts.

These digital renderings have come from an independent artist, and are not the official images of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire. The official model is expected to have a different design than these images, and we expect Maruti Suzuki to give the Dzire a heavily-tweaked exterior and different cabin, much like how it does currently with the present versions of the Swift and Dzire. However, under the hood, both the cars are expected to have the same 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine, which recently made its global debut in the global-spec Swift.

Maruti to launch 3 new cars in 2024

Maruti Suzuki, known for its successful compact cars, is expected to generate excitement with its upcoming vehicles in 2024. The first anticipated launch is the fourth-generation Swift, which has already debuted overseas. The new Swift features a sleeker design with angular headlamps and tail lamps, along with a bolder-looking grille. The sedan version, Dzire, is expected to follow in the first half of 2023, with a distinguished design and similar interior features as the new Swift. Lastly, the Maruti Suzuki eVX electric SUV concept, which has been spied on during trial runs, is likely to hit the Indian market in the second half of 2023. This will be Maruti Suzuki’s first all-electric vehicle for India, showcasing a production-ready cabin and an evolved design.
