As expected, the upcoming Galaxy A55 won’t be the only Galaxy A series phone to be rebranded as a Galaxy M smartphone this year. We have learned that Samsung is also working on the Galaxy M35, which is likely to be a Galaxy A35 spin-off for select markets.
There is no information available about the Galaxy M35 yet, but it’s safe to assume that a lot of its specs will be shared with the A35. However, there is likely to be at least one significant difference: Samsung’s choice of chipsets to power the two smartphones.
Last year, Samsung used MediaTek and Exynos chips for the Galaxy A34 and Galaxy M34 respectively, and the company could do the same for the A35 and M35. The Galaxy M55, which is based on the Galaxy A55, was spotted with a Snapdragon chip, but Samsung might stick to MediaTek for the Galaxy M35 to keep its price in check.
