Galaxy Ring is official, Nothing Phone (2a) unboxed, Week 9 in review


Welcome to March! This week we had the Mobile World Congress for the year and with it, naturally, came some big announcements.

Samsung seemingly stole the show with the unveiling of the Galaxy Ring – its next chapter in smart fitness and health tracking. Samsung more or less showed a prototype of the ring and teased it – we didn’t get specs, a price, or availability. The ring will become official in early July.

We got close to the Galaxy Ring this week and snapped some photos. It comes in three colors – silver, grey, and gold. It has a slightly concave top part and houses its tech and sensors in the inner circle.

Samsung did not reveal pricing and availability details yet.


What does a year of advancement mean for the Galaxy Ultra?


We got to see Samsung’s freshly announced smart ring.

As the Mobile World Congres wraps up, the Global Mobile Awards (GLOMO) were announced. The best smartphone award goes to the Pixel 8 series. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 won breakthrough device innovation, the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra won best connected consumer device, while the Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design won the best in show award.
