These posts appear when you run out of updates on your post feed. These posts depend upon the type of posts that the user likes, views, comments and shares on a daily basis.
Instagram will apply all the methods from top to bottom to keep you hooked on the platform. However, it’s not mandatory for users to view the suggested posts. These posts can also be turned off if you don’t like them.
Launch the Instagram app
Scroll through feed until you find the option of Suggested Post
Tap on the three dots of the Suggested Post which has appeared on the screen
Tap on Not Interested
Select Snooze all suggested posts in feed for 30 days (You select other options, too as per your choice)
Until Instagram comes up with a permanent solution to disable suggested posts, this option might reduce the number of uninteresting posts that appear on the feed and help you stop the senseless scrolling.
