To the surprise of many, the electric Creta spotted during testing featured a fake exhaust pipe below its rear bumper, leaving netizens confused.

The window panels and C-pillar are uncovered, providing a glimpse of the partially exposed battery pack placed under the floor, indicating this is indeed the highly anticipated Hyundai Creta Electric.
What caught attention was the Hyundai Creta Electric’s appearance with a fake exhaust pipe below the rear bumper, partially revealing the battery pack. While this might seem peculiar, Hyundai likely employed this tactic to deceive onlookers into thinking it’s a regular Creta with either the same or a new internal combustion engine. However, the partially visible underbody battery pack confirmed that it is indeed the new Creta EV.
The test mule of the Hyundai Creta also showcased partially exposed front headlamps, featuring new positioning and lighting patterns. Unlike the current Creta, where the headlamps are positioned a bit lower on the sides of the grille, the Creta EV test mule displayed higher-positioned headlamps with a fresh lighting pattern for the daytime running LEDs.
