Hyundai reveals Venue Facelift officially: Launch on June 16th

Hyundai has finally revealed the Venue Facelift officially. They will be launching the updated SUV on June 16th. As of now, only the images of the exterior have been revealed. The facelift makes the Venue look fresh among the rivals. It is important for the manufacturers that they keep their products because the compact SUVs are selling like hotcakes right now.

Mr. Unsoo Kim, MD & CEO, Hyundai Motor India Ltd., said, “As the leading mobility solutions provider, Hyundai has been setting new benchmarks in India with the introduction of blockbuster products. Through our vision of ‘Progress for Humanity’ we have continued to elevate customer experiences and induced the rapid adoption of globally contemporary technologies. Indian customers have showcased their love and trust in Hyundai, making us the most sold SUV brand of 2020 and 2021. At Hyundai, we will continue to excite our most loved customers with unique and exciting products and I am glad to announce the launch of the new Hyundai VENUE in June this year. I am sure, the new Hyundai VENUE will continue to thrill customers both in India as well as export markets.”

From the pictures, we can see that there have been some significant updates to the exterior. It now gets a new grille which is finished in dark chrome. Hyundai calls it a parametric grille, it is quite similar to the one found on Tucson. So, the Venue is now trying to follow the same design language as its elder siblings.

The headlamp unit is still a split setup. So, the upper strip is the turn indicator and the elements have been revised. The LED Daytime Running Lamp is still the surrounding the headlamp. The pictures shared by Hyundai have the Venue Facelift in a new red colour. The front bumper is also new with wide air dams and a wide faux skid plate.

The side profile is more or less the same. It has the same body lines, roof rails, body-coloured door handles and turn indicators mounted on outside rearview mirrors. The only change is the newly designed alloy wheels. At the rear, there is a new set of LED tail lamps. It seems like there will be a light bar also that will connect both the tail lamps. The rear bumper is also new with a wide faux skid plate and reflectors. The rear fog lamps and reversing light are also expected to be placed on the bumper.

For the interior, there could be some minor changes to the upholstery and dashboard design. There could also be some new materials and features on offer like ventilated front seats and a digital instrument cluster.

It is expected that Hyundai will also be bringing Venue N Line to our country. However, Hyundai has not yet announced or revealed the Venue N Line. We are not expecting any changes to the engines. So, there would be three engines on offer. A diesel engine and two petrol engines.

The Venue Facelift will continue to go against Kia Sonet, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite and Toyota Urban Cruiser.
