Now finally, after months of waiting, a video has been shared on the internet which shows India’s first supercharged Maruti Suzuki Jimny. This particular car now makes around 170 bhp and, apart from the supercharger kit, it also gets a number of other modifications. The Mahindra Thar, in comparison, makes 130 Bhp in diesel trim, and 150 Bhp in petrol trim.

She mentions that with this forced induction kit, the car now makes 170 bhp of power. In the stock format, the Jimny comes equipped with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated K15B petrol engine which makes a total of 105 bhp and 134 Nm of torque. She also mentions that the car has been given four-piece diff breathers and it also gets a custom free-flow exhaust which adds to the power and exhaust sound of the SUV.

Costs of modifications

The presenter then asks the owner of the car about the costs of these modifications. To this, she replies that the tyres cost around Rs 8,000-15,000 depending upon the size customers choose.
