Vivo’s sub-brand iQoo launched the Neo 6 smartphone in India in May which was earlier launched in China with the same moniker. Now, the company is working on its successor — the iQoo Neo 7 — which is expected to release in China by the end of this month. Just like its predecessor, the upcoming smartphone is also likely to arrive in India. But, details about the device’s India launch are still unknown and the company is expected to share more information about it during the China launch.

According to a report by GizmoChina, a Weibo tipster has revealed the China launch date and key specifications of the iQoo Neo 7 smartphone. The upcoming device will reportedly launch in China by October 21 and its India release date is still unknown.

iQoo Neo 7 expected specifications
As mentioned above, the iQoo Neo 7 series is likely to have two models. While some specifications are expected to vary between these two devices, others will remain the same for both. The base variant of the iQoo Neo 7 smartphone might sport a 6.78-inch 1080p AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. On the other hand, the Pro model might feature a 2K E6 AMOLED flat display with a 144Hz refresh rate.
Both devices are likely to come powered by the same processor and might also have the same camera arrangement. The iQoo Neo 7 series is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset paired with a Mali-G710 MC10 graphics unit. The Pro model is also speculated to support up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

On the camera front, both smartphones are likely to house a triple rear camera setup which will include — a 50MP Sony IMX766V sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 12MP portrait telephoto lens. No information about the selfie camera for both devices aren’t available yet.
