Kia launches the premium New Sonet Compact SUV at just Rs 7.99 lakhs(ex-showroom). Packed with 25 safety features and 70+ Connected car experiences.

Kia, one of India’s top carmakers, has launched its latest premium Compact SUV, the New Sonet, with a special starting price of just Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom) across the country.

Revealed in December 2023, this upgraded version of Kia’s second-best-selling model boasts an impressive 25 safety features, including a top-notch ADAS with 10 autonomous features and a robust 15 Hi-Safety features.

Customers can book the New Sonet on the Kia India official website or at authorized dealerships with an initial booking amount of Rs 25,000.

The New Sonet comes packed with over 70 Connected car features, including the innovative ‘Find My Car with SVM,’ providing a surround view of the car’s surroundings and the convenience of Hinglish commands for a more comfortable drive. With a variety of driving experiences offered through 19 different variants, including 5 Diesel Manual variants starting from Rs 9.79 lakhs, the New Sonet aims to cater to diverse preferences.

The top-of-the-line variants for both diesel and petrol engines feature Segment-best ADAS Level 1, offering 10 autonomous functions. Prices for the GT Line and X-Line variants in Petrol start from Rs 14.50 and 14.69 lakhs, while the Diesel options cost Rs 15.50 and 15.69 lakhs, respectively, (all prices, ex-showroom).

The New Sonet maintains its muscular and sporty appearance with an upright body style, featuring 10 autonomous features like Front Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) and Lane Following Assist (LFA). Safety is a top priority, with 15 Hi-Safety features standard across all variants, including 6 Airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and Vehicle Stability Management (VSM).

Furthermore, the Sonet boasts 10 best-in-segment features, such as dual screen connected panel design and rear door sunshade curtain. Compared to its rivals, the New Sonet has at least 11 advantages, making it the most technologically advanced and feature-rich Compact SUV.
