The video has been shared by Criminal Guys on their Instagram page. The person making the video came across this Scorpio in his area. The SUV was actually covered and the owner had actually kept a rubber sheet on the bonnet with thorns on it. This is usually done to avoid dogs from getting on to the roof or bonnet of the car. The nails of dogs often leave marks and scratches on the paint. The street dogs are also known to bite the antenna on the roof of the SUV. In order to avoid this issue, many car owners often cover the car completely and place such thorns or barbs of the bonnet.
However, this was not the reason why the person started recording the video. As he moved to the back, he noticed that the car was parked next to a pole and the owner actually tied the Mahindra Scorpio SUV to the electric pole. As seen in the short video, the owner actually took a metal chain and rope and tied the rear of the SUV to the electric pole. The SUV was parked on the road side and that makes the car and easy target for thieves.
The car owner probably didn’t want to take any chances and hence decided to tie the SUV to the pole. A thief who is coming to steal a vehicle will not be interested in a vehicle that would take too much time to break in. The more time he spends to break in, the more becomes the chances of him getting caught. We have seen several theft videos of cars and bikes online. In most case, the thieves break into the cabin of the car within seconds.
