Maruti Brezza to Hyundai Venue Facelift


There have been so many launches this year. We have seen facelifts, all-new cars and even a new generation of vehicles. But the automobile manufacturers are not stopping, in June also there are 5 launches. Today, we list them all down.

2022 Maruti Brezza

Maruti Suzuki has announced that they will be launching the new generation of the Brezza on June 30th. It is the new generation of the Brezza so it has been completely redesigned for the exterior as well as the interior. It will no longer use the “Vitara” moniker, instead, it will simply be called “Brezza”. It will get the new 1.5-litre K12C petrol engine from the Ertiga and XL6. Gearbox options will be a 5-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. Maruti Suzuki will also be adding a lot of features so that the Brezza stays competitive against the rivals.

Mahindra Scorpio N

Mahindra will be launching the Scorpio N on June 27th. The teasers have already revealed the exterior of the new SUV. The Scorpio N will be positioned between the Thar and the XUV700. Once launched, the current Scorpio will be renamed “Scorpio Classic”.

The Scorpio N will be offered with a 2.0-litre petrol engine and a 2.2-litre diesel engine. Both the engines will be offered with a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. There will also be a 4×4 system on offer with the higher variants.

Citroen C3

Citroen will be launching the C3 soon in the Indian market. It will be going against the Tata Punch, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite and lower variants of Kia Sonet and Hyundai Venue. The C3 is the second product by Citroen for India after the C5 Aircross. It is expected to be offered only with a 1.2-litre petrol engine that will be turbocharged. It will come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Volkswagen Virtus

Volkswagen’s second product under INDIA 2.0 strategy is Virtus which is a mid-size sedan. The production of the Virtus has already been started and some dealerships have also received the new sedan. The Virtus shares a lot of its components with the Skoda Slavia. Just like the Slavia, the Virtus will also be offered with two turbocharged petrol engines.

There will be 1.0-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre turbo petrol. The 1.0 TSI produces 115 Ps of max power and 178 Nm whereas the 1.5 TSI produces 150 Ps of max power and 250 Nm of peak torque. The 1.0 TSI will come mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The 1.5 TSI will come mated to a 7-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic transmission only.

Hyundai Venue Facelift

When the Hyundai Venue was launched in India, it gave a strong competition to the Maruti Suzuki Brezza and even managed to steal its first spot many times. Now, Hyundai will be launching the facelift of the Venue on June 16th. The bookings for the compact SUV are already open. The manufacturer has added more features, updated the cabin and the exterior is also revised. Mechanically, the Venue Facelift will stay the same as the previous Venue.
