While there are many super-rich dream garages that we know about and write about, here is an interesting story of a Maruti Suzuki dealership owner who owns 45 exotic cars and 9 superbikes. The dealership network operates across Odisha and it has been in business for more than 35 years now. The video by Bulu Patnaik says that apart from Maruti Suzuki, he also owns Audi, Suzuki two-wheeler, TVS and Harley-Davidson dealership. There are a total of 14 dealerships that he owns in the state.
35 years of collection
Mr Devjyoti started his first dealership in 1996, which was a TVS showroom in Bhubaneswar. In 1999, he started the dealership of the American manufacturer Opel in the Odisha capital. Then he started working with Maruti Suzuki and he was only 24 years old at that time. With the brand campaign of “Aapka Apna Maruti Dealer” he branded the showrooms “Jyote Motors“.

At the time of the recording of the video, Mr Devjyoti was operating nine Maruti Suzuki dealerships and also owns ‘The Big Bike Hub’, which became the first dealership of Suzuki superbikes. He loves motorcycles and operates a biking club too. Mr Devjyoti educates society on the responsibility of safe biking through the club.
For the love of automobiles, he could not ever sell the vehicles that he owned. His collection ranges from a humble Maruti Suzuki 800 to the exotic Lamborghinis. These are some of the vehicles that Mr Devjyoti has collected over 35 years.
Maruti Suzuki 800
The good old Maruti Suzuki 800 became the first car of many Indian families. Devjyoti bought the car way back in 1998. He travelled to Kolkata, West Bengal to take the delivery of the vehicle. He remembers the day clearly as he had to wait for a full day to get the car. He drove the car back to Odisha and the vehicle is still there in his garage.
Lamborghini Urus
The Lamborghini Urus is quickly becoming a common car in celebrity garages in India and across the world. He bought the Urus soon after its launch in India and uses the vehicle for thrilling drives too. The massive SUV gets powered by a 4.0-litre Twin-Turbocharged V8 petrol engine that generates a maximum power of 641 Bhp.
MINI Cooper
