As part of the Playstation Showcase 2023, Sony has revealed that the Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater remake is actually real. Only PS5 is confirmed so far, but if we hear more, we’ll update this article.
They’ve also shown off a teaser trailer that doesn’t reveal a whole lot. It starts off with a bunch of animals fighting each other, and then Naked Snake reveals himself.
Still, just the confirmation that this exists is a pretty big deal. The remake has been rumored for yonks now, and I’m sure many people will be excited by this news. I’m personally curious about what a post-Hideo Kojima Metal Gear Solid looks like, and Metal Gear Survive doesn’t count. Actually, this kind of doesn’t either, since it’s a remake.
