Motorola Moto G72 in for review

Say hello to the Moto G72 – a capable mid-range phone with content consumption on its mind. It comes with a USB cable, protective case, and a 33W charger, though in some markets you will also get headphones.

Those would end on the good old 3.5mm connector, as the Moto G72 has a built-in audio jack. And it’s a useful one as well, supporting Dolby Atmos. The stereo speakers aboard the Moto G72 are also Dolby Atmos-ready.

Unboxing the Moto G72

Continuing the thread of content consumption, the Moto G72 also has a great display – a 6.55-inch OLED with 1080p resolution, and HDR10+ support. It’s buttery smooth too at 120Hz.

Moving further down the specs sheet, the Moto G72 has an ample 5,000mAh battery that should last quite a bit – though we’ll need to verify that in our review.

Finally, the Moto G72 packs a 108MP main camera that pixel-bins 9-to-1 for resulting 12MP snaps. Next to it are an ultrawide and a macro. A MediaTek Helio G99 handles processing the images as well as the rest of the computing tasks.

Those are impressive specs for a €280 phone, but is the real life performance good enough. Stay tuned for our full review, which is coming right after New Year!
