  • The key highlights of the OnePlus 12R OxygenOS 14.0.0.307 include improved system stability and performance.
  • The company is also offering optimisations aimed at reducing power consumption and extending the battery life.
  • This also expands the compatibility of Bluetooth connections to ensure better connectivity with other devices.

The update is rolling out in batches for a smooth rollout and should everyone in the days to come. The company is also offering a provision to submit feedback about the update. Users in India can do this by dialling “*#800#” on the Google Dialer app, while users in other regions can submit the feedback directly on the OnePlus update thread. You can check for the update by heading to Settings > Software update.

Separately, OnePlus announced to offer a full refund to customers who purchased the OnePlus 12R 256GB version. This is valid until March 16th. The reason behind this is that the brand initially announced the phone features faster UFS 4.0 storage but OnePlus President and COO, Kinder Liu, later clarified that both variants of the phone support UFS 3.1.

This is an error on the company’s part as UFS 4.0 offers faster app launch speeds, data access, and the ability to save files on your phone quickly. So, if you have purchased the OnePlus 12R thinking it comes with UFS 4.0 storage and are now not happy with the UFS 3.1 clarification, you can claim a full refund until March 16th.
