Oppo has reportedly started working on the smartphone series that will succeed the Find X5 lineup. The Chinese smartphone maker released the Oppo Find X5 series on its home turf and a few other markets earlier this year. Its successor, the Oppo Find X6 lineup, is expected to include two new smartphones – the Oppo Find X6 and Find X6 Pro – and they may debut in 2023.

Last month, a few key specifications of the upcoming smartphones were leaked online. The upcoming devices are tipped to come powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 chipset and a 50MP primary camera setup. Now, a report by GizmoChina has cited Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station who has revealed the battery details of the Oppo Find X6 series handsets.

Both Oppo Find X6 and Find X6 Pro are likely to sport OLED displays, however, both smartphones may not support the same screen resolution. As per the report, the base model will offer 1.5K resolution while the Pro variant will come with 2K resolution.

The vanilla Oppo Find X6 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset while the Pro model might feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset (which is likely to arrive later this month). The pro model may get 12GB of RAM and 512GB internal storage.

On the camera front, both smartphones are rumoured to feature a 1-inch Sony IMX989 primary sensor and a triple rear camera setup. The Oppo Find X6 Pro is likely to have three 50MP sensors (main, ultra-wide, and telephoto). While the base model is expected to pack two 50MP units and a third 32MP camera.

Apart from this, the vanilla Find X6 handset is rumoured to equip a 4,800mAh battery and the Pro variant is expected to pack a 5,000mAh unit. Both phones will likely support 60W fast charging.
