The two video from Chennai City shows the whole episode. First, two people travelling in a Range Rover got stranded after the water reached the windowline of the vehicle. The Range Rover likely got hydrolocked after which it could not move forward.
The second video shows one of them trying to climb the bonnet of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class and slipping multiple times. While the whole act of climbing on the bonnet of the Mercedes-Benz is playful, it does look like the guys in the Range Rover called for help.
The people inside the E-Class seem to be not minding the person climbing on the vehicle’s bonnet. We are not sure about the further details of this video.
While many might argue about how the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, which is a sedan is sailing through the water-logged roads while the Range Rover SUV got stranded. As the force of the flowing water increases, the cars are swept away from their parking spots, and carried along the water down the lane. Additionally, a few trees are observed being washed away by the floodwaters.
