Redmi 13C 5G’s processor revealed ahead of December 6th launch in India

Redmi 13C 5G details revealed so far

Redmi 13C 5G will be the first 5G phone from Redmi’s C series. It will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC.

The 4G variant will be running on a different chip. While Redmi India hasn’t posted anything about that yet, we know they will have minor differences in design from the official images.

The Redmi 13C 4G’s rear camera lenses sit on a rectangular island whereas the 5G ones don’t. Even the position of the flashlight lens and the “50MP AI Cam” inscription are slightly different.

On the Amazon microsite, we see Redmi 13C 5G in Black and Lavender colours while the 4G model appears in Green and Black. This phone was launched in Nigeria earlier this month in these same colours. So, if Xiaomi launches the same device, here’s what we could expect:

Redmi 13C 4G specifications (expected)

  • Display: On the front, Redmi 13C 4G could sport a 6.74-inch screen with HD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and a waterdrop notch.
  • Processor: Inside, it could be carrying a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset.
  • Memory: The performance could be backed by up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage along with a dedicated microSD card slot.
  • Software: On top of this setup, you could get MIUI 13 based on Android 13.
  • Cameras: The Redmi phone could feature a 50MP+2MP+2MP triple rear camera setup and an 8MP selfie camera.
  • Battery: Under the hood, there could be space for a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging support.
  • Miscellaneous features: Among other things, you could expect a side-facing fingerprint reader, USB-C port, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.
