Retailer spotted selling Samsung Galaxy S24 even before announcement

The Galaxy S24 is getting official tomorrow at the Galaxy Unpacked 2024 event. And the company is already taking reservations for its upcoming flagship smartphone series and offering a $50 credit for those who reserve it. However, a smartphone retailer is going ahead and already selling the Galaxy S24.

Galaxy S24 listed in all its colors, revealing prices

The Galaxy S24 has already been listed on a Mexican retailer’s website. The Yellow Amber version of the Galaxy S24 128GB was spotted listed on Doto’s website with a price tag of MXN 16,499 ($975). The 256GB version of the phone was listed for MXN 17,999 ($1,065). That’s the same price tag with which the Galaxy S23 was launched. The three other colors of the smartphone were also listed. The pricing could be a placeholder, and the webpage just went live before it was intended to. However, the webpage also says that there are very few units available: 10 units of the 128GB variant and four units of the 256GB variant.

Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra specifications

As per previous leaks and reports, the Galaxy S24 has a 6.2-inch screen with Full HD+ resolution, while the Galaxy S24+ has a 6.7-inch screen with QHD+ resolution. The Galaxy S24 Ultra has a 6.8-inch QHD+ screen. All three phones have Dynamic AMOLED 2x screen with a 120Hz variable refresh rate and 2,600 nits of peak brightness. The Galaxy S24 Ultra also comes with an S Pen.

The Galaxy S24 and the Galaxy S24+ could have an Exynos 2400 process in all countries except for Canada and the US (where they will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3). The Galaxy S24 Ultra uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor in all the countries. The Galaxy S24 comes in 128GB and 256GB versions and has a 4,000mAh battery. The Galaxy S24+ comes in 256GB and 512GB versions and has a 4,900mAh battery, while the Galaxy S24 Ultra comes in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB versions and has a 5,000mAh battery.

All three phones will likely run Android 14-based One UI 6.1, which brings several AI-powered features. Some of the features include live language translation during voice calls, notes summarization in Samsung Notes, language improvement suggestions via Samsung Keyboard, and the ability to erase objects from images and videos.
