“I mean, look, the only thing I feel about it is a little bit jealous, you know? Because of course I was a lot younger and it was a great experience in my life,” Russell Crowe said in an interview with Collider. “It’s something that has changed my life. It changed how people saw me and what I do for a living, and I’ve been very fortunate to be in many big films, but the legs in this film are amazing.”(Deadline)

Crowe continued, “Here it is, the year is 2023 and we shot this movie in 1999. I guarantee that Gladiator will be on prime-time TV somewhere in the world tonight. And that kind of longevity doesn’t always come with every film you make, so obviously, it holds a special place in my heart.” (Deadline)
