After the Galaxy M42 5G, one more mid-range Galaxy M series smartphone has started getting the One UI 5.1 update: Galaxy M53 5G. The device is getting the update in India, and more markets could get the update within the next few weeks.

The One UI 5.1 update for the Galaxy M53 5G comes with firmware version M536BXXU2CWB3. It has a download size of 1,237.25MB, and it brings the February 2023 security patch that fixes over four dozen security shortcomings found on the phone.
