Samsung Galaxy S23 press materials leak, new Purple shade pictured


The Galaxy S23 series is officially arriving on February 1, and we expect the vanilla Samsung Galaxy S23 to arrive in four colors. Today, we get to see the press images of the vanilla smartphone, including a new Mystic Lilac color that hasn’t been part of the rumor mill.

The trio of cameras will be the only element protruding from the back panel, while the back panel will remain glass, likely a Corning product.

According to WinFuture, the names of the four colors are Phantom Black, Botanic Green, Mystic Lilac, and Cotton Flower. The last time Samsung used different adjectives in the color names was for the Galaxy S20 series – since then, all the paint jobs were called Phantom.

The Galaxy S23 is expected to have an exclusive Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with a custom overclocked CPU. Samsung is also adoptiong the new UFS 4.0 storage and 8GB LPDDR5X RAM.
