Samsung US starts week-long sales with Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy S23 FE discounts

Samsung US has started a week-long sales event dubbed “Discover Samsung Winter Sale”. During these seven days there will be three types of offers – flash deals, deals of the day and ones that span the entire event. The flash deals are the most time sensitive as they only last from 12-4 PM ET on the given day. Naturally, these are some of the best deals that will be had during the event.

Today’s flash deal is a discount of up to 64% on the Galaxy Z Fold5. That is with a straight discount of $150 and then enhanced trade-in credit of up to $1,000. This means that the price of Samsung’s flagship foldable can fall to $650. Note: this applies only to select models, check Samsung.com for more details.

The second class of offers are valid for 24 hours starting at 9 AM ET. Monday’s daily deal is a $175 discount on the Samsung Galaxy S23, no trade-in required. This puts the starting price of the outgoing petite flagship at $625.

Another daily deal is for the Samsung T7 Touch portable SSD – the 2TB model, which is normally $290, is now down to just $100. This portable SSD is secured with a fingerprint reader on board and offers 1GB/s read and write speeds when connected over 10Gbps USB 3.2 Gen 2.

For smaller portable storage, the Samsung USB Fit plus 256GB (in Gray or Silver) is $20 ($15 off).

The final daily deal that might be of interest is the Samsung Neo QLED 8K QN900B – this smart TV is available in 65”, 75” and 85” sizes. The smallest of the trio is normally $5,000 (again, this is an 8K TV), but it can now be had for $3,300. The larger models have discounts up to $2,000.

We will have another post with tomorrow’s daily deals, so check back again. In the meantime, here are some of the week-long deals.

If you don’t want the Galaxy S23 (and you might not, the S24 is a couple of months away), there is the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE. This one comes with a $130 discount – this drops its starting price to $470 – and you can reduce it even further with trade-in deals.

Alternatively, you can get a certified renewed Galaxy S22 for $395 ($225 off). There are also the S22+ for $495 ($275 off) and the S22 Ultra for $595 ($325 off).

Going back to the FE family, the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+ both have $50 discounts, so their starting prices are $400 and $550, respectively.

Finally, the Samsung Galaxy Buds FE have a $20 discount, so a new pair costs $80.

We may get a commission from qualifying sales.
