The British SUV manufacturer Range Rover which is owned by Tata Motors has always been regarded as the producer of some of the most opulent SUVs globally and numerous Bollywood and Hollywood celebs own a product from this brand. Recently two celebs have also welcomed the company’s one of the most popular models the Velar into their garages. These celebrities are popular standup comedian Zakir Khan and TV actress Avneet Kaur.

Recently the Comedy Central India’s Best Stand-Up Comedian competition winner Zakir Khan brought home an all-new Range Rover Velar finished in a shade of Fuji White. As of yet, it is not clear which variant Zakir opted for his choice of wheels. Avneet Kaur also got herself the Velar in the same Fuji White color and like Zakirs it’s also not clear as to which variant the Bollywood actress has gone for.
The Range Rover Velar is the brand’s luxury SUV that slots in between the Range Rover Evoque and the more expensive Range Rover Sport and Vogue models. It starts from Rs. 78.87 lakhs, ex-showroom Delhi, and goes all the way up to R. 1.37 crore. The Velar is directly imported from the UK as a completely built unit.
Range Rover offers the Velar in India with three engines options. The lower variants get two engine options – a 2 liter turbocharged diesel with 179 Bhp, or a 2 liter turbocharged petrol with 250 Bhp. Meanwhile the top-end variants are powered by a more powerful 3 liter, V6 turbocharged diesel engine with 296 Bhp. All three engines get 8 speed automatic transmissions from ZF as standard. Also, an all wheel drive system with Terrain Response is standard on all variants.
Other notable features on this SUV include Matrix LED headlamps, Touchscreen-based Touch Pro Duo infotainment system, Hill Descent Control, Hill Hold, adaptive air suspension, ventilated front seats with memory function, six airbags, ABS+EBD and an active rear-locking e-differential. Furthermore it also gets gets features like 3D Surround Camera, cabin air ionisation with PM2.5 filter and electronic air suspension. The new Pivi Pro infotainment system comes with a 10-inch touchscreen and a 10-inch lower touchscreen. The infotainment supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity and more. Range Rover Velar is offered in Portofino Blue, Santorini Black, Fuji White and Silicon Silver.

This gift was one of the most expensive gifts that has been given by any actor to their crew member. Furthermore other notable names in the B-Town that own Range Rovers include Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal, Anushka Sharma, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and a ton of others.
Most recently the countrys most famous family garage the Jio garage also welcomed two new 2023 Range Rovers. From the registration numbers the SUVs that were recently spotted on the streets of Mumbai it was revealed that these two new units of Range Rover added to the car collection of Mukesh Ambani are the 3.0 LWB SE diesel variants. The SUVs are registered in the name of Reliance Industries Limited, which is the parent company owned by Mukesh Ambani.
