Recently, in an auction, a very special Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster was sold. It is perhaps the most expensive Diablo ever sold worldwide. Donald Trump’s Diablo

The car was personally used by the former president. It was sold at Barrett-Jackson’s Scottsdale auction. The Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster sold at the auction was originally bought by Donald Trump back in 1997. He opted for the Blu Le Main paint job, a shade not officially offered by the manufacturer at the time.

It was a custom shade, and upon request, Lamborghini painted the car in this unique color, making this Lamborghini even more special. Another customization on this Diablo is the plaque on the door of the car.

Trump added a custom-made plaque that said “Donald Trump 1997 Diablo.” The Diablo was one of the first supercars offered by the Italian car manufacturer. The car was launched after the popular model Countach. Countach was the first model that Lamborghini had produced after the brand came under the Volkswagen group. Donald Trump sold his Diablo in 2002, and in 2016, the same car was listed on eBay for sale. The person selling the car on eBay had bought it from its previous owner back in 2005. It is not clear whether the car is still with the same person or not.

Donald Trump has a huge fan following in America, both as a politician and a businessman. It is a valuable collector’s item; however, it seems that all the owners who bought this supercar used it on the road fairly. When the car was sold at the auction recently, it had 15,431 miles on the odometer. The Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster is powered by a 5.7-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine that generates 492 Ps. The supercar can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 4.5 seconds.

Lamborghini, as a brand, is extremely popular around the world. In India, it became popular among rich celebrities and businessmen in the last decade. The Italian supercar maker had several models officially on sale here, and some enthusiasts even imported the car to India. What made Lamborghini popular among the rich customers, however, was the Urus. This Super SUV was launched in the market back in 2017 and became popular almost immediately. It became one of the fastest-selling Lamborghinis in India as well as around the world.

Celebrities and rich businessmen in India, such as Kartik Aaryan, Ranveer Singh, Rohit Sharma, Rohit Shetty, singer and rapper Badshah, Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal, actor Prithviraj, and Sachin Tendulkar, all own a Lamborghini Urus. Many people also own the Huracan, which was introduced as a replacement for the Gallardo. The Urus is powered by a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbocharged petrol engine that generates an impressive 650 Ps and 850 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and features all-wheel drive.
