Meta’s Instagram on Wednesday officially unveiled Threads which is considered the most potent threat to the struggling social media service Elon Musk owns. Threads, the newly unveiledapp by Instagram, offers users the ability to share text, and links, and engage in conversations by replying to or reposting messages from fellow users.
However, several users on Twitter taking sides with Elon Musk have reacted on how the Meta’s new Threads app has been created. Recently, a Twitter user with the handle DogeDesigner (@cb_doge) mocked Meta’s new Threads app with his latest post.
His post showed a keyboard with copy and paste buttons, implying that Meta’s new app is similar to Twitter. Interestingly, Elon Musk has reacted to the post with a face with tears of joy emoji.
Replying to DogeDesigner’s post, a Twitter user with name Alice in Wonderland commented, “Zucks threads ‘plural’.” Another Twitter user with nameChe Guevara commented, “Within five minutes, I deactivated #ThreadsApp There’s no way it can compete with #Twitter, I’m sure of it @elonmusk.”
