-Open the Google Phone app and tap on the menu icon from the top-right corner.
-From here, you need to tap on the Settings option.
– The Settings menu opens up several options, but the “Caller ID and Spam” feature is what we are looking for.
-Once you tap on it, you get to see three options. The first option is enabled by default, which will show yo the caller and spam ID on the screen while receiving a phone call.
– The next one is the “Filter Spam Calls”. Enabling this option will allow you to prevent suspected spam calls from disturbing you.
-Note that the app will only consider those callers as spam that have been marked by other Google Dialler users as spam. Those numbers that don’t have spam marked on them will continue to arrive on your phone.
-However, note that the spam calls option may often block calls that deliver your OTP, or maybe from an important source. Hence, you will need to keep this in mind.
