Tony Yayo on Possible 50 Cent & Ja Rule Reconciliation: ‘Shut the F*ck Up’

Will 50 Cent and Ja Rule ever squash their long-standing beef? Tony Yayo doesn’t think so.

Yayo was asked on Vlad TV about the possibility of a reconciliation. “If Ja Rule came forward,” the host hypothesized, “and publicly said, ‘Listen, I wanna apologize to 50 Cent and G-Unit for X, Y, and Z. I was young, you know, we were all wild, I wanna—we all have kids now, I wanna put it behind us.”

Yayo, who was rolling his eyes and shaking his head almost as soon as the question started coming out of Vlad’s mouth, flat-out rejected the idea.

“Shut the fuck up with that shit, Vlad, please,” Tony answered.

Spanning over two decades, their feud ebbs and flows these days. Back in January, 50 responded on social media to a clip of his music playing during Power 106.9’s Jingle Jam concert where Ja Rule and Ashanti were performing.

50 Cent claimed last month that the Minnesota Timberwolves have been cursed ever since the organization allowed Ja Rule to perform at halftime. The “Clap Back” rapper responded by saying he lives rent-free in 50’s head.

In an interview with The Shade Room shortly after that exchange, Ja Rule didn’t seem too receptive to the idea of he and 50 Cent resolving their differences, suggesting that if they were in the same room together, nothing would happen.

50 Cent said in an interview with Big Boy earlier this year that he wished Yayo became as big of an artist as him, which would have allowed the media mogul to focus more on the business side.

“If he would’ve been ‘50 Cent’-big, then I would have been running the whole thing,” 50 explained. “Then it would still be two of us. He’d still be ‘50 Cent’ as the artist and out there, and I’d be probably the largest asset to us.”
