TVS launches Ronin scrambler motorcycle in India


After several leaked images and spy pictures, TVS has finally launched their brand new motorcycle TVS Ronin in the market. The TVS Ronin is actually a neo-retro scrambler and not a cruiser as expected before. TVS Ronin is not like any other product that Hosur-based manufacturer already offers. TVS currently does not have a Scrambler or a cafe racer motorcycle in the segment and with Ronin, TVS plans to explore this segment. Starting price for TVS Ronin is Rs 1.49 lakh, ex-showroom.

Coming to the styling, the Ronin gets a neo retro look. The headlamps are round with a T-shaped LED DRLs in the middle. The headlamp are LED units too. The headlamp has been developed in a way to generate more light than other motorcycles in the segment without creating a distraction for other riders on the road. The motorcycle comes with golden USD forks from Showa at the front and the front fenders are designed in a way that they hug the front tyre neatly. The motorcycle comes with 17 inch alloy wheel both at the front and rear. The alloy wheels are wrapped in block pattern dual-purpose tyres. The motorcycle gets disc brakes at both the ends. The motorcycle comes with ABS modes – Urban and Rain. As we move up, the LED turn indicators are placed on either side of the headlamp and above that is the fully exposed and floating round instrument cluster. There is no windscreen or fly screen in front of the instrument cluster.

The handle bar offers an upright riding position like in a scrambler and the fuel tank gets a tear drop shape design.
