As per the official details, the decision was taken to promote Zoya Akhtar’s upcoming film ‘The Archies’.
Total Passengers on Board in Flight
The flight carrying the whole movie cast including directors Zoya Akhtar and actors Khushi Kapoor, Suhana Khan, Aditi Saigal, Agastya Nanda, Mihir Ahuja Vedang Raina, and Yuvraj Menda. The star cast was also accompanied by the fans and selected select Club Vistara members.
Special Decor and Meal Inside Flight Cabin
In order to provide a proper 1960s world of Archies vibe, the airline left no stone unturned. It has turned the flight into a retro-themed aircraft, treating every passenger with specially curated meals and beverages. To make the journey more special, the airline also offered customized Vistara and Netflix giveaways.
In addition, for the entertainment front, the Archies’ songs were played in mid-air, enhancing the overall travel expirence of the onboard flyers.

Sharing the overall flying expirence with a special themed flight, one of the officials from Netflix said, “UK 1964, Vistara’s Retrojet ‘Flight to Riverdale’ is a unique and immersive experience curated to transport the passengers back in time, all while enjoying the company of the cast and crew. This special collaboration will carry the participants into the world of The Archies before it launches on Netflix,”
