Vivo V25e with MediaTek Helio G99 chipset launched in Malaysia

Vivo recently launched its V series smartphone called the Vivo V25 Pro 5G smartphone in the Indian market. Now, the company has launched a toned-down version of the phone called the Vivo V25e. The handset is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC chipset.

Vivo V25e is priced at RM 1,399 (approximately Rs 24,915). The smartphone comes in two colour variants– Sunlight Gold and Diamond Black

. The handset is up for grabs starting today (August 30) from Vivo website and other leading retail stores in Malaysia.


Vivo V25e: Features and specifications

Vivo V25e sports a 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 2404 ×1080 pixels resolution. The smartphone comes with a 90Hz refresh rate and offers up to 1300 nits brightness. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor for unlocking the device.

The camera houses a triple rear camera setup that includes– 64MP sensor with f/1.79 aperture, OIS and an LED flash, 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The front is home to a 32MP front sensor with f/2.0 aperture for clicking selfies and doing video calls.

Vivo V25e is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio G99 6nm chipset coupled with Arm Mali-G57 MC2. The smartphone comes in a 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. It has a dedicated microSD card slot for expanding the storage capacity.

The handset packs a 4500mAh battery with a 44W fast charging support.

Connectivity options include– Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, USB Type-C and others.

Vivo V25e runs Android 12 topped with the company’s own layer of Funtouch OS 12.
