The screenshot shows that Green is now the primary colour of the app and it makes sense as Green is WhatsApp’s signature colour. The new native WhatsApp app for macOS is built using Catalyst and relies on iOS code. WABetaInfo has mentioned that there have been several changes made to the iOS code to improve its functionality on macOS and offer a better user experience.

For those unaware, the feature allows users to lock individual chats instead of the entire app. Also, as a part of the feature, WhatsApp has also added a dedicated Locked Chat section that keeps track of all the chats that are currently locked and requires authentication to access.
