The Galaxy Watch 6 series uses the new Exynos W930 processor that features higher clock speed and an improved fabrication process compared to the Exynos W920 chipset that debuted with the Galaxy Watch 4. While the company used the same chip for the Galaxy Watch 4 and the Galaxy Watch 6, it looks like it won’t do the same with the Exynos W930.

Samsung is working on the Exynos W940 chip for the Galaxy Watch 7

Samsung is reportedly working on a new chip that will power the Galaxy Watch 7 series. The chip could be launched later this year, and the first piece of information about it has been revealed. According to tipster Roland Quandt, The Galaxy Watch 7 will use an Exynos processor that is based on the Exynos 5535 (which is its internal model number and not the marketing model number). It is possible that the chipset could be named the Exynos W940.

The South Korean firm also seems to be working on a chipset that has the internal model number Exynos 5400. It is also expected to be a wearable or mobile chipset. Samsung also seems to be working on the Exynos 6375 processor. No information about this chip has been revealed, so we don’t know whether it is designed for wearables, smartphones, or tablets.

Samsung is expected to unveil the Exynos 1430 and Exynos 1480 processors for its mid-range smartphones that will be launched within the next few. The design of the Galaxy A55, featuring the Exynos 1480 processor, was leaked a few weeks ago. It follows the same Key Island design seen on the recently released affordable smartphones, the Galaxy A14 5G and the Galaxy A25.
