Per a report from folks over at TheTechOutlook, the company could soon launch flagship smartphones under the “ThinkPhone” sub-brand. It reveals the phone’s key hardware details and gives us a first look at the Motorola ThinkPhone itself while we are at it.

Motorola ThinkPhone specifications, design

While the photos shared by TheTechOutlook are blurry, we can piece out that the phone has a thin-bezel display with a 32MP centre-aligned punch-hole front-facing camera. It has triple rear shooters tucked in a square camera island on a curved back panel: 50MP primary, 13MP ultrawide, and 2MP depth. There’s a power button and volume rockers on the right side of the metal frame and a possible alert slider on the left side.

Per the report, the smartphone’s overall footprint is 158.7 x 74.4 x 8.3 mm, and it should feel lightweight in hand at 189 grams. It’s built with aramid fibre material. The device is IP68 water and dust-resistant. Some images also reveal that the ThinkPhone can share screen and transfer files with Lenovo’s ThinkPad laptops.

The publication claims the phone flaunts a 6.6-inch OLED panel that supports HDR10+ and a 144Hz refresh rate. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC paired with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB storage will run the show. It will support 68W TurboPower fast charging and 15W wireless charging. We can expect it to ship with ThinkShield technology.

There’s no word about the launch date for this ThinkPhone, but we could witness it (via) at the upcoming CES 2023 and Mobile World Congress scheduled for the first few months of 2023.
