0 65

Philips Hue continues to make great products for gamers, and the latest is the Philips Hue Play Gradient lightstrips for PCs, so you can now have their lightstrips on your monitors. Of course, people were doing this before with the older lightstrips, but these are actually made for monitors. So they will fit and stick to the monitors better.

The new Play Gradient lightstrips will be bundled in sizes for displays ranging from 24 to 27-inches for $169, or 32 to 34 inches for $189. There is also a bundle that would support a trio of 27-inch monitors for $279.99. Of course, it can also connect with other Philips Hue products and it will go on sale starting September 13.

It’ll work with Razer’s Synapse and Corsair’s iCue lighting software

Not only does this work with the Philips Hue Sync Desktop app, but it also works with Razer Synapse software and Corsair’s iCue lighting software, so the lights can sync with what is on your monitor at the time. And of course, you can sync this with other Philips Hue lights in the room or in your home, not just the new lightstrips.

This is going to allow you to take your gaming setup to the next level. If you’re a streamer on Twitch, the new Philips Hue Play Gradient lightstrips for PC are almost a must-buy. As they will really take your stream to the next level. Now these lightstrips are not cheap, coming at $169 for somewhat small monitors. But if you are already invested in the Philips Hue ecosystem, then it makes sense to jump on-board with these.

These, along with the other Philips Hue products announced today will be available later this month. The Philips Hue Play Gradient lightstrips for PC will be available starting on September 13 in the US and in Europe. There’s no word on other countries just yet.
