If you are a PlayStation owner, then you must be familiar with the console’s gaming subscription service – PlayStation Plus. And, it appears that there’s some bug that’s preventing PlayStation players from playing online games on the gaming console.

Engadget has reported that several PlayStation users are facing the new bug that’s affecting the PlayStation Plus service and preventing players from playing the game.

What is this new PlayStation bug and how its affecting users
According to the report, multiple PS Plus subscribers have shared their experiences on Reddit and other platforms. These users reported that while playing a PS5, PS4 title on the platform alerts saying, “The game will expire in 15 minutes,” are popping up and are forcing the console to automatically return to the home screen.

This bug is not closing the game entirely. Users reported that they were able to get back to the game being redirected to the home screen. But, this issue repeated nearly every 15 minutes and this was interrupting their gameplay.

Users also tried several ways like — restoring their licenses, disconnecting from the internet, changing the date on the system and fully powering down their PS5 to try and fix the problem. However, none of this didn’t solve the issue even temporarily.
