The May 2023 security update for the Galaxy A53 bumps up the phone’s firmware version to A536EXXS5CWE1. The update is currently available in Latin American countries, including Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Guatemala, Panama, and Paraguay. More Latin American countries will get the update within the next few days. We are hopeful that Samsung will expand the update’s availability to more countries worldwide before the end of this month.
Samsung has included fixes for over 70 security flaws found in Galaxy phones and tablets in its May 2023 security update. No new features have been added to the Galaxy A53 5G’s new update.
